On the front panel, the
display soft-keys and rotary
control are used to select the
measurement to display from each
channel or group of channels.
Voltages up to 2000 Vpk may be
connected directly to the
measurements channels and a wide
variety of current transducers
may be used including wide
bandwidth, resistive current
shunts from Voltech. Accuracy is
0.02% reading + 0.05% range for
(basic voltage and current) The
PM6000 samples at a minimum of 5
MSPS (mega samples per second)
and a maximum of 40 MSPS
ensuring alias free measurements
at up to 10MHz.

Voltech
PM3000ACE three-phase
analyser The
Voltech PM3000 ACE three-phase analyser is
suitable for the measurement of all phase
and line current and voltage parameters,
total and displacement power factor, power
and energy, comprehensive harmonics for
voltage and current as well as short- and
long-term flicker in compliance with IEC
requirements. The Voltech PM3000 ACE locks
on to the motor drive frequency of variable
speed drives, making measurements over the
full 1 MHz bandwidth and can compute drive
efficiency through the input of torque/speed
parameters and the instrument’s ability to
apply scaling factors. The scaling factors
of the Voltech PM3000 ACE also make it
suitable for power transformer testing and
the determination of K factors in
transformers used to supply high harmonic
content loads. The Voltech PM3000 ACE
through its software displays waveform, data
logs, harmonic bar charts, cycle-by-cycle
rms data, etc. The Voltech PM3000 ACE
utilises six monotonic A/Ds, three for
voltage and three for current, the latter
being equipped with high accuracy single
shunts thus providing highly accurate
frequency and phase performance. Digital
signal isolation prevents errors typical of
many analogue designs.

Voltech
PM1000+ single-phase
analyser The
new Voltech PM1000+ Precision Power and
Energy Analyser is suitable for standby
power, energy and inrush current
measurement. Voltage and current can be
measured to 600V rms and 20 Amp rms with
crest factors to 20, respectively. Power,
apparent power and reactive power can be
measured to 90 kW/VA as well as power factor
from –1.000 through 0 to +1.000, in the
frequency range from DC and from 10 Hz to 1
MHz. Energy can be measured in watt-hours
and VA-hours utilising integration windows
from 1 to 300 seconds. Harmonics are
analysed to the 50th order for both current
and voltage, as are THD for voltage and
current. A Voltech Ballast Current
Transformer is available to permit accurate
energy usage data for fluorescent lighting
having current and voltage phase errors of
less than 1º and 3º respectively. For power
line analysis the instrument can be equipped
with clamp-on current and voltage
transducers. The Voltech PM1000+ is provided
with Windows compatible software, USB, IEEE
and RS232 ports and is thus suitable for use
in production or R&D environments.

ATi
Transformer tester
Automatic high speed
transformer testing includes
an LCR meter, and will test
ferrite type transformers
and components at
frequencies selectable from
20Hz-3MHz. The instrument
can be configured with over
30 measurement parameters
including LCR, Z, M, turns
ratio, etc. It is suited for
high-speed production
testing or manual impedance
measurements. Testing of
multiple windings is
possible within a test
routine, not only primary to
secondary but also
secondary-to-secondary
windings. Typically ferrite
transformers tested in less
than 2 seconds. .
