Schaffner EN5010, EN5020 range of
Sine wave filters provide an advanced
solution for a wide range of VSD carrier
switching frequencies. VSD Carrier switching
frequencies spanning 4 to 16Khz and motor
frequencies up to 600Hz can be accommodated.
Shielded and unshielded cable lengths can be
increased providing greater flexibility in
motor location and system outcomes.
EN5030 combined with either
EN5010/EN5020 provides solutions to
complex scenarios created by Common Mode and
Differential Mode noise resulting in
reduction of premature motor failure due
bearing damage, restricting pulse currents
to ground, allowance for the use of
unshielded cables and reduction of EMC on
the line side.
The additional EN5030 is capable,
using innovative circuits and additional
connection to the DC Link, of sending the
asymmetric interference’s directly back to
the very place where they have originated.
